Course Synopsis:
This course provides real estate salespersons with essential knowledge and practical strategies to navigate challenging situations in residential tenancy. Referencing the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) Circular Newsletter Issue Jan 2017, participants will learn about due diligence and responsibilities when representing landlords and tenants.
The course covers key topics such as deposit matters, assessing and differentiating repair liabilities, proposing solutions for tenancy disputes, and providing sound advice to clients.
Participants will also explore best practices for effective tenancy handovers through proper documentation and gain insights into managing early lease terminations.
With tenancy issues being a common aspect of real estate work,this course ensures salespersons are well-equipped to handle complex scenarios professionally and compliantly.

About the Trainer

Her extensive experience spans residential properties, with a particular expertise in handling unique HDB cases involving divorce, bankruptcy, and the death of ownership scenarios. In addition to her role as a full-time real estate consultant, Ivy has served as a company trainer since 2013. Her interactive case studies offer enriching learning experiences for all participants. Ivy is an ACTA-certified trainer and the developer of various CPD programs for OrangeTee & Tie Pte Ltd. She has been recognized as OrangeTee’s Outstanding Trainer for consecutive years since 2013.
In 2017, Ivy completed a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), focusing on developing adult learning programs for real estate agents in CPD programs. Furthering her expertise, she pursued estate planning studies, earning her AEPP certification in 2020.
