- This module seeks to inform CEA registered real estate agents what are the differences between marketing residential real estate properties in Singapore versus marketing industrial real estate in Singapore.
- It is designed to provide CEA registered real estate agents with a clear and basic guide to the essential steps that they will need to undertake and fulfil in order to complete their leasing or resale cases successfully.
- Ultimately, it will provide them a basis to decide whether or not to become engaged and to get involved as Professional Real Estate Agents in the industrial property segment.
Course Description
This course provides CEA‑registered real estate agents with a practical understanding of the Singapore industrial real estate market, including its key sub‑segments and business models. Participants will learn the differences between private and JTC industrial properties, strata and landed factories, and how industrial property marketing differs from residential marketing.
The course covers effective marketing strategies for strata and landed industrial properties, including high‑rise strata units, resale and leasing opportunities, and common industry practices. Key topics include industrial land ownership, strata void areas, floor area interpretation, taxation, valuation considerations, and compliance requirements.
Participants will also gain practical insights into JTC Standard and Purpose‑Built Factories, supported by case examples, quizzes, and a step‑by‑step guide to marketing and transacting JTC landed industrial properties.
