Besides representing the Estate Agencies and Salespersons, SIEA provides members a platform to network; to share concerns and ideas with the intention of self-improvement and for the betterment of the company and the industry.

Members also enjoy privileges including preferred rate for our CPD activities, Agent Keys, MediCare app, products and services, as well as special invitations to events.

Under SIEA’s membership, our membership types are defined as follows:

  • Associate Membership – Individual who is registered as a salesperson under section 29 of the Estate Agents Act.
  • Ordinary Membership – Individual who is registered as a salesperson under section 29 of the Estate Agents Act and had served as Council member, Mediation Board or subcommittees member previously in Institute of Estate Agents (IEA) or Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA) or SIEA for at least two terms (can be nonconsecutive terms).
  • Accredited Ordinary Membership –  Practicing Key Executive Officer (KEO), an Executive Director, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer or equivalent of a Real Estate Agency.
  • Student Membership – Students of RES courses (auto admitted as a student member and membership will valid for ONE-year from the date individual signs up for RES course)

Associate and Ordinary Members

Who are associate members?

Any individual who is registered as a salesperson under section 29 of the Estate Agents Act.

Who are ordinary members?

Any individual who is registered as a salesperson under section 29 of the Estate Agents Act and had served as Council member, Mediation Board or subcommittees member previously in Institute of Estate Agents (IEA) or Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA) or SIEA for at least two terms (can be nonconsecutive terms)

  • Ordinary members have voting rights but are not allowed to vote for change and/or amendments to the Constitution.
