Terms and Conditions (E-Learning CPD Courses)

By enrolling in an E-Learning CPD course with the Singapore Institute of Estate Agents (SIEA), participants agree to the following terms and conditions, in compliance with CEA’s CPD Guidelines and the 2026 CPD framework.

1. Eligibility for CPD Training Hours

  • Participants must complete the entire e-learning course, including all modules, assessments, and required feedback, in order to be awarded the corresponding CPD training hours.

  • CPD training hours and the Certificate of Completion will only be awarded to registered participants who meet all prescribed completion and assessment requirements.

2. Course Access and Completion Requirements

  • Upon successful registration and purchase, course access will be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of account activation.

  • Participants must complete all modules and assessments within the access validity period to qualify for CPD training hours and certification.

  • Participants may pause and resume the course, and progress will be saved automatically via the learning management system.

  • Course participation and completion are electronically tracked by the system.

  • If the course is not completed within the validity period, re-enrolment and repayment of the course fee will be required.

3. Account Usage, Registration & Security

  • Each user account is intended for individual use only. Participants must not share, transfer, or allow others to access or complete the course on their behalf.

  • Course enrolment is non-transferable. Only one certificate will be issued to the registered account holder.

  • Participants must register using their CEA-registered name and NRIC number.

  • Attendance records, completion status, and certificates will be generated strictly based on the registration details provided.

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate information may result in delays, rejection, or non-award of CPD training hours.

  • Any suspected account sharing or misuse may result in suspension of access without refund and disqualification from CPD training hours.

4. Assessment Integrity & Criteria

  • A mandatory assessment is required at the end of each e-learning course, in accordance with CEA guidelines.

  • Participants must achieve a minimum passing score of 80% to be awarded CPD training hours.

  • All assessments must be completed independently by the registered participant.

  • Any breach of assessment integrity may result in disqualification without refund.

5. Feedback Submission

  • Participants are required to complete and submit a post-course evaluation form.

  • SIEA reserves the right to withhold CPD training hours and certificates if the feedback form is not submitted.

6. Certificate & CPD Training Hours Issuance

  • Certificates of Completion and CPD training hours are typically issued within 7 to 14 working days after successful course completion.

  • For applicable courses, CPD training hours will be submitted to the CEA’s CPDS Portal in accordance with prevailing requirements.

7. No Refund and Rescheduling Policy

  • All course purchases are strictly non-refundable and non-cancellable, regardless of whether the course has been accessed or completed.

  • No refunds will be provided for participants who fail to complete the course, fail the assessment, or do not meet the requirements within the stipulated access period.

  • Once enrolment is confirmed and access is granted, withdrawal, cancellation, or rescheduling is not permitted.

8. Technical Requirements

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate internet connectivity, compatible devices, and updated browsers to access the e-learning courseware smoothly.
  • No refunds will be issued for technical limitations or issues on the participant’s end.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, including but not limited to videos, slides, quizzes, text, and downloadable files, are the intellectual property of the course provider.

  • Participants must not copy, record, reproduce, distribute, or share any part of the courseware without prior written permission.

10. Compliance with CEA Guidelines

  • SIEA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions to ensure continued compliance with CEA’s CPD requirements.

  • Participants who fail to comply with these terms may forfeit their eligibility for CPD training hours and certification.
