- New Definition of *GCR for EA2026
The total commission attributed to the salesperson for a completed property transaction (sale and/or lease), before any agency cut, including co-broking commission (but only the portion accorded to the salesperson), excluding overriding commission.
Example (Co-broking commission sharing):
If Agent A (Agency A) co-brokes a property sale with Agent B (Agency B) on a 60/40 commission basis, Agent A should only report GCR based on the 60% portion retained.
Verify that your Gross Commission Received (*GCR) for the ^award period 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 is accurately calculated prior to applying. Incorrect tier selection due to inaccurate GCR calculations may result in the rejection of your application.
