Each bundle is carefully curated to help estate agents fulfil the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements under the CEA CPD Framework.

Under the current CPD framework, estate agents are required to complete a total of 16 CPD training hours during each CPD cycle, comprising:

  • 12 hours of Structured Learning (SL), of which:
    • 4 hours must be from Prescribed Essentials (PE); and
    • 8 hours must be from Professional Competencies (PC).
  • 4 hours from Self-Directed Learning (SDL) – Generic Competencies (GC) .

Important: If you are attending the Zoom meeting on your mobile devices, please download the Zoom app via Apple Store (for Apple) or Play Store (for Android). If you are viewing the class on a desktop or laptop, it is encouraged to download the app/software (optional) as you can view the class via your default internet browser.

Some of the pointers to take note on the conduct of online-learning courses: –

  • Participants are required to turn on their video cameras throughout the online course, showing their entire faces in real-time with their full names displayed until the trainer/speaker has ended the session. Attendance by participants who fail to do so will not be recognized by the CPD course providers and will not be accorded with CPD credits.
  • Participants are will be required to register themselves with their particulars (Name, CEA registration number, etc) before entering the online learning course, please ensure that your details are accurate as the attendance is tracked.
  • Similar to face-to-face CPD courses, please note that attendance will be tracked the moment you enter the online-learning CPD. In line with requirements by CEA, you are required to stay throughout the course until the trainer has ended the session. If for any reason you are disconnected from the course, please re-join the course again with the provided Zoom invite.
  • You will be granted a grace period of 15 minutes to be present on the online learning course after the course has started, failure to do so will have you marked as ABSENT.
  • After completing the online learning course, an e-certificate of attendance will be issued to you within 1-5 working days. For Prescribed Essentials and Professional Competencies courses, attendance will be submitted to the CEA Portal. For Generic Competencies CPD courses, please kindly forward the e-certificate to your estate agent as they will require KEO’s approval to have your CPD credits accorded.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The CPD activities in each bundle are not transferable.

  2. Once the courses are confirmed, participants are not allowed to cancel any course(s) within the bundle.

  3. Participants who enrol in a CPD bundle promotion may submit a request for a one-time rescheduling of one (1) CPD course/topic within the bundle by emailing cpd@siea.org.sg and stating the reason for the request, together with supporting documentation (if any).

  4. Requests for rescheduling will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at SIEA’s sole and absolute discretion. Approval is not automatic and the submission of supporting documentation does not guarantee approval.

  5. Participants must submit their rescheduling request as early as reasonably practicable together with all relevant supporting documents. SIEA reserves the right to reject any request submitted at the last minute, after course commencement, or where supporting documentation is deemed insufficient or unsatisfactory.

  6. Any approved rescheduling shall be subject to course availability, administrative requirements, the validity period of the bundle and SIEA’s prevailing policies.

  7. Only one (1) rescheduling request will be permitted for the entire CPD bundle and shall apply to one (1) CPD course/topic only. Once a rescheduled course has been approved and allocated, no further requests for rescheduling, replacement, deferment, transfer or extension will be allowed for any course within the bundle, regardless of the reason provided.

  8. All approved replacement classes must be completed within three (3) months from the date of the originally registered CPD course unless otherwise approved in writing by SIEA.

  9. If a participant fails to attend any scheduled CPD course within the bundle, whether on the original date or an approved rescheduled date, the course shall be deemed forfeited. The participant will be required to register for and pay the prevailing full course fee to attend the missed CPD course again.

  10. SIEA reserves the right to request additional supporting documents, and all decisions made by SIEA shall be final, conclusive and binding.

  11. SIEA reserves the right to cancel any course(s), reschedule course dates, or change the venue, and will endeavour to provide participants with as much advance notice as reasonably possible. In the event of a course cancellation, or if a participant is unable to attend a CPD activity on a date rescheduled by SIEA, SIEA will provide a full refund of the applicable course fee.
